Usually we get upset by others’ negative or dark side. However, our judgment towards others is really a reflection of the judgment towards ourselves; what we don’t allow ourselves to do, we do not allow others do.   The judgment we have towards others is a form of self-denial. Denial and love cannot co-exist.

Having struggled with depression for 19 years, I learned about how emotions come in many layers and different forms; they are merely messengers, trying to guide us back on track, back onto our unique life path. Thanks to these emotions, I came to understand the matrix of life as well as much life wisdom. Working with darkness leads me back to the light.

When there is love there is light. We are healed because of love. Through listening to our true yearnings, we learn to unconditionally embrace and accept who we are, including our own darkness and light.

I have been incorporating the teachings of self-understanding and decoding-our-emotions into yoga, meditation, and everyday life, witnessing many others benefitting and transforming because of the practice. This is the reason for the birth of this book, I hope through the sharing of my personal transformation, yoga, meditation, and self reflection practices, you will have a deeper understanding and compassion towards yourself, loving yourself and others for the way they are.
